Meet with God before you meet your day.

Wake Up Loved is a free morning quiet time for moms in busy, demanding seasons. A podcast, an app, and journals, all made for the few real minutes you actually have.

What is Wake Up Loved?

One simple idea: you can meet with God in the morning, even a loud, interrupted, not-enough-sleep one. And those few minutes can shape the whole day that follows.

It began with a real problem. So many of us love the Lord and love His Word, and still watch quiet time become the first thing to go when life gets full.

Your faith was never the problem. You just never had a rhythm built for real life with little ones underfoot. That is what this is. Gentle, doable, and made for the season you're in.

The heart behind it

Here is something worth sitting with. Before you did one thing this morning, before you earned it or proved it or checked a single box, your heart was already beating. The sun was already rising. You were already held.

That is the quiet claim underneath the name. You are not loved for what you get done today. You wake up loved. Already. So a few minutes with God is not one more thing to be good at. It is a place to be held before the day starts pulling.

Which is why there is no streak to keep here, no guilt for the mornings you miss, no perfect routine to live up to. Just an open door, and the freedom to come as you are and begin again whenever you're ready.

The Wake Up Loved Podcast

A short, gentle morning quiet time you can take anywhere. Daily Scripture, unscripted reflection, and prayer, in about fifteen minutes. Press play while you nurse, drive, or make the beds, and let it carry you through the reading and the prayer so you don't have to plan a thing.

The Journals

Two ways to keep your quiet time on paper. The Abiding Life Companion is a 30-day journey through what it means to abide in Christ. The Integrated Life Bible Journal walks you through the whole Bible in a year, with room beside each reading to write down what God shows you and plan the day ahead.

The Wake Up Loved App

Some mornings you have fifteen minutes. Most mornings you have two. The app meets you at either one, with a single verse, a short devotional, or a full guided reading. You can even name what's on your heart and get verses for exactly that, ready to print and keep.

A word from Maraya

From the founder

I'm Maraya, the voice behind Wake Up Loved. The first version was a quiet time I could do while burping a baby, built in five-minute increments in the cracks of a full life, because I have never had a season that waited for me to be ready.

When I was five, I saw a magazine cover of a mother holding a starving child, and I was sure that if people just knew, they would help. I asked my dad to take me to the post office so I could send food myself. He told me there was nothing I could do. I never believed him. That one conviction has shaped everything since. There is always something you can do, and love shows up as action.

Wake Up Loved is one of the ways I live that out. So is my other work. I also write homeschool curriculum over at Home CEO Academy, for families with little ones learning at home during the day. I keep the two separate on purpose, because not everyone who comes here for a quiet time is homeschooling. But if that's your season too, it's there.

I'm not writing to you as someone who has it all figured out. I'm still learning to abide, most mornings, right in the middle of the mess. It would be my joy to walk beside you in it.

A ministry that gives back

Wake Up Loved is a ministry of Adsila Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and everything the organization earns goes to charity.

Since 2015, Adsila Kids has provided virtual learning for students with medical needs, water for life for 180 people through World Vision child sponsorships, a playground built with Play Action International, a library remodel for a local school, and school supplies for rural schools. It was a finalist in the UN World Humanitarian Summit's Visualize Change challenge. This ministry is offered freely as part of that mission.

"Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you."

~ Psalm 143:8, World English Bible

Imagine a gentler morning.

You wake, and before the day starts pulling, you take the first few minutes. A verse. Three slow breaths. One honest sentence to God, out loud or not.

Nothing performed. Nothing finished. A small turning toward the One who was already awake before you were.

The day will still be the day. You'll walk into it having been with Him first.

Which one of these is your morning?

  • 2 AM, nursing in the dark, wide awake and lonely with your phone in your hand.
  • 5 AM, the quiet time you meant to have, except everybody else woke up too.
  • 6:47 AM, a small person is already calling your name and you reach for your phone.
  • Naptime, which was going to be the pocket, and then it wasn't.
  • Bedtime, and the thought lands again. I didn't open my Bible today.

Your Bible isn't sitting there because you stopped caring. It's sitting there because the plan you were handed assumed a morning you don't have.

Wake Up Loved

He has gone before you today.

Here's something small to try. Write Psalm 118:24 on a notecard: "This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it." Set it on the coffee table or tape it to the bathroom mirror where you'll see it more than once.

Read it as a promise, not an assignment. He made this day on purpose, and He put good in it. Somewhere in the next few hours there's something worth being glad about, and you get to be the one who finds it. You might not even have to look hard.

Peace, joy, and trust: that's what grows as we meditate on His word and let His peace steady our hearts, until it overflows into the places we live, work, and play.
